Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actor who is most well known for her roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she's proven her ability as an actress by giving impressive performances in television series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. It was initially noticed because of her part as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. The film was her character as Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) on the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind earned praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground.
